Visit of Prof. Miłosz Pawlicki
From April 15 to 17, our team had the pleasure of hosting Miłosz Pawlicki, a distinguished researcher specializing in π-conjugated systems and molecular design.
Prof. Pawlicki began his scientific career at the University of Wrocław, where he completed his M.Sc. thesis focused on amino acids and peptide chemistry. He subsequently earned his Ph.D. in 2005 under the supervision of Lechosław Latos-Grażyński, working on porphyrins and porphyrinoids. Between 2007 and 2009, he was a Marie Curie Fellow and postdoctoral researcher in the group of Harry L. Anderson.
In the following years, he continued his academic career at the University of Wrocław, where he progressed to the position of Associate Professor. In 2020, he joined the Jagiellonian University, Faculty of Chemistry, where he was later promoted to Full Professor in 2023. He currently leads a research group focused on the modulation of strongly coupled and π-conjugated systems.
During his visit, Anna Piec and Patryk Rybczyński presented the latest research results developed within our team. The meetings created an excellent environment for insightful discussions, exchange of ideas, and exploration of potential collaborations.
The visit proved to be a highly productive and inspiring experience for all participants. More information about Prof. Pawlicki’s research and activities is available at the link
