Patryk Rybczyński took part as a jury member in the National Festival of Chemical Demonstrations, held on 21–22 April. He was invited to evaluate chemical shows prepared by members of student scientific societies from universities across Poland.

From April 15 to 17, our team had the pleasure of hosting prof. Miłosz Pawlicki.
During the visit, Anna Piec and Patryk Rybczyński presented the latest research results developed within our group. The meetings provided an excellent opportunity for in-depth scientific discussions and exchange of ideas.
It was a highly productive and inspiring time for everyone involved.

On March 30, the results of the final stage of the 62nd National Chemistry Competition named after Professor Antoni Swinarski were officially announced.
As every year, one of the key problems focused on organic chemistry. Once again, Patryk Rybczyński was responsible for preparing the competition tasks. This year’s central theme was condensation reactions.

Anna Piec participated in the final of the European 360OrgChem Challenge competition. The event was organized by the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The co-organizers of the competition were the Silesian University of Technology, the Lodz University of Technology, and the University of Silesia in Katowice.
The first stage of the competition involved the substantive evaluation of submitted abstracts and scientific achievements, as well as a positive recommendation from the supervisor. Twelve PhD students whose doctoral research concerns topics in organic chemistry qualified for the final round.
The finalists were required to prepare a 6-minute presentation about their research. On December 18, 2025, in Warsaw, Anna represented our Group with a presentation entitled: “Design and synthesis of new fluorescent dyes with high quantum yield and two-photon properties.”
A simple core with a lot of possibilities was published.
